Can anybody be hypnotised ?

Yes, anyone can be hypnotised as long as they want to be and have an ability to concentrate. So it is not appropriate for very young children or people with certain mental disabilities. A hypnotherapist can not force you to go into hypnosis against your will.

How many sessions will I need?

Darren usually sees people 3 times, but sometimes more or less sessions are required. The first session lasts approximately one hour, the second session is usually two hours and any follow ups after that are usually one hour.

Hypnotherapy is an effective therapy but it also depends on your motivation and desire to change. Your hypnotherapist will want to help you in the minimum number of sessions possible. You and the hypnotherapist will review your progress so that at any time you can make a valued judgement about how the therapy is progressing.

How often will I need to see the hypnotherapist?

This depends on the type of problem and on the progress made. Your hypnotherapist will usually see you once a week. However some clients see the hypnotherapist once a fortnight or even once a month depending on their circumstances. Please note the full fee may be liable unless a minimum of twenty four hours notice is given to cancel or rearrange appointments.

How Much Does It Cost?

Due to the Coronavirus situation Darren is now conducting most of his hypnotherapy sessions via Zoom Skype or Facetime. From the 6th July a limited number of hypnotherapy sessions will be available at his London office with appropriate precautions in place. The cost of sessions has also been temporarily reduced from £190 to £160 per hour.

Cancellation Policy:

Standard 48 hours notice of change to appointment time.

50% fee if less than 48 hours notice.

100% fee if cancelled less than 24 hours notice.

Having said that we recognise that challenging situations sometimes occur in life and our priority is always to treat people fairly.

In the case of last minute rearranging please call the office as soon as you can.
